Enough already, about Precious Doe and Elonzo Washington!

Responding to THIS POST on TKC's blog....Read THIS first.

Well, cheap sexual references aside from some of your tacky readers, it's time that you, Tony, and Alonzo move on.

Local community organizer and important black player, Alonzo Washington, shouldn't require personal credit during every public mention of the missing baby, Precious Doe, who was killed by her pts. True, true, only after Washington hounded the cops on the case and did some good private detective work, did they come to justice. Fine and dandy. Justice served, and it always ISN'T as we know! Good for Alonzo, a local gadfly who turned out right in this tragic case.

Okay then, In fact, (black) babies die for no good reason every damned day. What about THEM? Starvation. Stupid parents shaking them. America more interested in oil than starvation overseas, it would seem. Drive-by shootings. Gangs. Drug-infested pregnant mothers. Babies without fathers. Seat belts and car carriers and bike helmets. Vicious dogs. No school monitors on street corners. Speeding firetrucks. Bullied children driven to suicide. Drunk drivers. Abusive boyfriends. Lack of food or health care. All because of unlucky birth! Damn, but we can't choose our parents!

Is this about Alonzo? He didn't save this baby girl whose body was desecrated after she was disposed of by unwanting parents. He only brought her parents to justice in a case that captured MEDIA attention. That did NOT bring that media victim child back. Let's not make THIS child more important than any other just because she was pictured in the newspaper a lot.

He can't live on the Precious Doe thing for the rest of his life like so many of our parent soldiers and sailors did, who did nothing noteworthy in their ENTIRE lives since the government gave them a real mission in uniform between '42 and '45!

What else has he done besides a few photo-shoots in studly threads to get laid, and some personal rah-rah appearances? It'd be different if this black community personality ran for president and won. But he hasn't. He's just a facebook, self-promoter who has caught your attention. Tony, it doesn't matter when politicians go to obligatory statue dedications. What's important is what they on a daily basis. You TOO! And your hero, Facebook Washington.

The world is full of LIVING children needing our help right now. Has he fathered any babies? Is he raising them? Trust me, well-raising living sons is more important than getting kudoes for the long-ago arrest of some toddler's killers! Tots are killed by their parents all the time. The only thing different about this unlucky child is that she was desecrated and unidentified in a media society! Anywhere else in the world, and no one would have given her tragic ending a second thought!

What are you doing lately, Alonzo? If our crime-fighting hero has no sons, how 'bout nephews and nieces? Kids next door. Campaigning for better health care for mothers to be? Stopping drugs and smoking. Keeping kids in school. Ending Islamic wars in faraway places. What has he done to keep his communities' black boys out of jail in such disappointing numbers?

And you Tony. What's more important... these children or that stupid ass mayor you have such a 'jones' about?

Time to move on, since Precious Doe. Sad for her but she gone with never getting a start. There are LIVING CHILDREN whose lives are not reaching their potential. Often by parental stupidity, lack of jobs, lack of attention, nobody giving a shit. Lets deal with THIS.

Let's deal with the LIVING!

Best article of writing ive read in months, this guy loves to stroke his own twitter acct and still riding the precious doe train, its sad and pathetic.. the loss of a child should not be anyones sole resume.
