TKC again, handwringing over dead crazy people

The shooting call came out at 3:30am Friday at the intersection of Independence Avenue and VanBrunt Boulevard.

Officers found a vehicle parked a parking lot shared by O'Reilly's Automotive and Jerry's Silver Slipper. A man was dead inside the vehicle. Another man was dead, outside the vehicle.

Observations:

ISN'T IT NOW CLEAR THAT THIS IS THE WORST TIME TO CUT BACK ON POLICE FUNDING FOR KANSAS CITY?

Once again . . . The local murder count is on and it's not even Spring. TKC.

Tony, Tony, Tony! The combination of drinking, drugs, and anger management issues is what causes this. Not cops. People like that will just go do what they do where they don't see cops.

Ban liquor and drugs. Make KC go dry. Close the SilverSlipper at 8pm.

Let people who can't control their anger kill each other off. It's nature taking care of itself. Why do we need cops interfering with the natural order of things? Two dead men who were fighting are two less men we have to support in prison! Isn't this just a case where we're using the cops for waste management? If the cops aren't around to do the job, call BFI for solid waste pickup.
