Every radioman for himself...

Insight on the sinking of what was once the Good Ship Susquehanna, now Cumulus

They don't have to layoff anyone in KC because everyone here keeps quitting. We had a Sales manager quit this week after about 5 sellers quit over the past three weeks. When he offered his 2 week's notice Pyscho-Manager Donna Baker had him escorted from the building. Very classy. People will start packing up in the middle of the night and phone or email their resignations in to avoid such treatment.

And across the street at the Good Ship Wilks?

Thank God it's Friday and thank God Jeff Wilks is gone. The little bastard arrived early this week declaring that "he was here to fix the problem (declining revenues and shares." He badgered sellers all week. What a pain in the ass and so disruptive. We could get more done at addressing the "problem" if he would just keep his big ego in Alanta.

What is with these people from from Atlanta (Wilkes/Dickey) flushing the radio industry down the toilet? Do they suffer from some sort of Ted Turner Syndrome or something.
