Various news sources reported late this morning that thousands of people in several states are getting automated phone calls from McCain's campaign. Missouri was one swing state being targeted with these calls.
This is the same call I received and wrote about Thursday. Saying Obama has dealings with a terrorist, and talking about blowing up government buildings. It was about Ayers, which was discussed during this week's debate. AT that time McCain said there were QUESTIONS about the relationship. The phone call alleged a direct link.
The website that had the call recorded from another source but they reported a complaint from a woman whose 7 year old daughter took the call, heard the part about terrorists and blowing up buildings...and she was upset.
CNN's anchor drones, always with advice, said that some of these calls may be breaking the law, and admonished viewers to register their phone number on the no call list. Well, we did that just as the no call list was created. And other than people pretending to be collecting money for sheriffs and firemen, we haven't had a lot of calls. And never invited calls from the GOP. Well anyway. So much for 'respect'.
Same story, Huffington Post...
McCain campaign keeps Palin from watching the news so she won't get depressed. More...
(Gee, does that include Faux News too?)
